A Story About Mark
Mark’s Bio
My banking career began in 1986 with Westpac in Kingscliff, marking the start of an 11-year journey that saw me climb the ranks through various roles. This path included exciting relocation opportunities for promotions, ultimately leading me into management positions. I returned to Tweed Heads to embark on a new chapter with Suncorp, where I spent over a decade in diverse management capacities, kickstarting my lending career.
At Suncorp, I navigated the complexities of lending, spanning from residential home loans to Commercial & Small Business Lending. My tenure there was distinguished by peer recognition, leading to my role as a mentor for lending consultants across various Gold Coast branches. As a Small Business Client Manager, I maintained exemplary credit compliance, consistently exceeding the 90% benchmark, and achieved a remarkable 100% customer experience survey score.
My interactions with Mortgage Brokers at Suncorp opened my eyes to the vast potential in this field. Embracing this opportunity, I began my Mortgage Brokering journey in 2011, initially as an employee and then as a Loan Market franchisee in 2014. Now, with access to over 60 lenders, I can expertly match my clients with products that meet their immediate and future needs.
With over 25 years of experience in the Gold Coast, Tweed Coast, and Northern Rivers areas, I’ve navigated thousands of lending scenarios. My commitment is anchored in strong customer service, an extensive network, and in-depth credit knowledge, always aiming to find the perfect solution for every client.
I hold a Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking and proudly maintain a current NPS score of 92.
Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply invested in the administration and development of Rugby League. With over 35 years of volunteering, I currently hold the positions of Chairperson for the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League and Director for the New South Wales Community Rugby Leagues Association. My dedication has been recognized with five local Volunteer of the Year awards and two nominations for the NSW Country Rugby League Volunteer of the Year.
